The service systems humanity live in — healthcare, education, housing, social care — are under strain. Yet the researchers best positioned to diagnose these failures and design solutions often lack the funding and collaboration infrastructure to do so. ServCollab exists to change that.

Three concrete giving purposes, drawn directly from what ServCollab funds:

PhD Student Scholarships — Each year, ServCollab awards a $1,000 scholarship for a doctoral student to present transformative service research at an international conference. Your gift helps ensure the next generation of researchers can contribute their work to the global conversation.

Research Grants — ServCollab awards up to $5,000 quarterly to research projects aligned with its seven Service Research Themes that have been accepted for peer review. Donations directly fund this grant pool and the collaborative research it enables.

Wisdom Communities — ServCollab's PhD Student and Early Career Communities bring together researchers from every continent. Sustaining these communities — with convening, coordination, and resources — depends on donor support.

As of today, ServCollab has produced 27 research papers, 58 conference presentations (including 6 keynotes), and received the 2022 Distinguished Recognition Award for Excellence in Service Innovation from ISSIP. All of this has been built with limited resources and a global volunteer community — imagine what sustained funding can do.
