Our Purpose
We are a global human services nonprofit that seeks to elevate the human experience by bringing researchers together to collaborate on reducing suffering, improving well-being, and enabling well-becoming.
Why ServCollab
Because humans live in service systems, ServCollab is built on the foundations of modern service research to expose service system failures and design service systems that serve humanity. ServCollab argues that every service system must work harder to serve humanity.
What we do
ServCollab conducts collaborative research that diagnoses complex global service systems problems, designs wise solutions that serve humanity, and collaborates with individuals and organizations to implement these solutions.
Service systems should elevate the human experience
Every human experience is different, and every human experience can be improved. ServCollab introduced elevating the human experience as a serving humanity goal and conducts collaborative research for solving global service systems problems that undermine human experience.

No single academic discipline works on solving global service system problems. So, ServCollab develops multidisciplinary collaborative research for serving humanity by elevating human experience.

In ServCollab, we believe that suffering is the lagging edge of human progress, well-being is the center of human progress, and well-becoming is the growing edge of human progress. Our research, collaborations, and communities seek to elevate the human experience and regenerate service systems to nurture human flourishing.
Our Impact
In our brief history, ServCollab has published 27 research papers including 24 journal articles and 3 book chapters. ServCollab has presented 58 conference presentations including 6 keynotes presentations, 3 special sessions and 10 workshops. ServCollab is building the ServCollab Wisdom Community: Currently the members are from 17 different countries all over the world and represent 15 different universities. ServCollab received the 2022 Distinguished Recognition Award for Excellence in Service Innovation from the International Society of Service Innovation Professionals (ISSIP).
